Two Bills Drive

My sense is McDermott wants a veteran behind Taylor to steer the ship if he were to go down at all. Although the 30-year old Yates has only started nine games throughout his seven NFL seasons, he has started – and won – a playoff game. That holds some clout with the coaching staff and in the QB room. He'll get pushed for the backup role, but when it's all said and done, I think he keeps it at least for most of the season, if not all of it.'

'The Patriots are among the teams that typically among the squads that are featured. The Bills, in recent years, have not been so lucky.'

'If Darby and White prove to be the starters outside, it’s highly likely that Bills CB Kevon Seymour will garner heavy consideration for the nickel position. Seymour was the Bills sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL draft and he carved out a role for himself last season. Throughout his rookie season, the cornerback played in 15 games while making 22 tackles and also had three pass deflections.'
