Reggie’s making progress, but we still need to see more and we’ll see what happens this week as he progresses even more.’’'

'Yes, McCoy is 29 years old, but he certainly doesn't look it. Of all the players on the Bills' roster, McCoy may have the most value in a trade. He's the type of running back who could instantly turn a contending team into a potential Super Bowl team. It's tough to tell how long a player will hold his value in the NFL. That's particularly true of running backs, who don't play a highly valued position. The fact that McCoy has value make trading him worth considering.'

'“(Boldin) taught me how to be patience on my routes and just how to separate from defense. Anquan is really a technician and I just really wanted to learn that from him and learn how to be a technical wide receiver,” Powell said.'

'Matthews practiced on Tuesday, but the others did not. Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott indicated on Tuesday that Matthews would continue to see an increased role while battling his injury.'

At this point, it hasn’t been set, but I do lean on a lot of those guys already. The Kyle Williams’ of our football team, the Lorenzo Alexander’s, the Eric Wood’s, and the list goes on. They’re a great sounding board for myself in terms of what’s going on, how the team’s reacting to things. Are we tired? Or are we in a good spot physically [and] mentally? They’ve been a tremendous help to me and I really appreciate their leadership, their guidance, and their feel for the pulse of the team overall.”'

'LT Cordy Glenn, WR Jordan Matthews, RB Jonathan Williams, and CB E.J. Gaines were all dressed in full gear at practice and all were participating in their position-specific drills during the individual portion of practice the media was allowed to watch.'

'“Cordy is progressing,” said head coach Sean McDermott. “He’s been out on the field with the walk through going on and he’s progressing and moving forward and nothing has changed. We feel like we’re on schedule at this point.”'

'“It’s not the best scenario, but like I said, we have guys on our team right now,” said Taylor. “We still have a team full of playmakers. Just have to continue to keep chipping away one day at a time. Keeping our mindset, everything we have is still in front of us, all of our goals, we can still reach that. Just have to continue to do what we’ve been doing over the past couple of weeks and keep our head forward.”'

It’s a people-driven business as far as that goes, so yes, it is important that we acknowledge it and then we circle back on things to continue to reinforce what’s important to us, why it’s important, and then how we move forward."'

Just because you're the route-runner, you're the receiver, don't think a lot of times you have to avoid the confrontation. When you play, you've got to play with aggression, you've got to be physical, you've got to be willing to put your hands on them, too.' That was something different.'
