‘Van Demark is now a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Anderson is competing to start at left guard for the Bills. Someone on the roster needs to emerge as the swing tackle, a role that requires versatility and adaptability. Ahead of the preseason finale Thursday against the Steelers at Highmark Stadium, Grable appears to be the favorite.’

Bills DL Greg Gaines acclimates quickly to Buffalo defense
‘“Greg had a practice and a game in a Buffalo Bills uniform before he ever had a practice here,” Brady said. “It’s a scheme that he’s been a part of, the position that he’s played, knowing where his eyes need to be and how to strike. And it’s just going through getting back into it.”’
No charges filed as police close investigation into death of Ed Oliver’s son
‘The Buffalo News first reached out to the Sheriff’s Office a month ago but has not received any information from the Office regarding its investigation into the incident. When contacted again late Monday, the Office instructed The News to resubmit a public records request for documents related to the investigation.’
Bills’ games at new Highmark will offer bluegrass as new grass | Erik Brady
‘The Bills will play their home games on Kentucky bluegrass that went from seeding to feeding to flourishing to harvesting, all at Tuckahoe. Its farm supplies the turf for many other big-time teams, too — from the fabled frozen tundra in Green Bay to the green grass below the Green Monster in Boston. Tuckahoe-grown grass is also underfoot in Washington — at the National Mall and at Nationals Park.’
Bills overlooked defensive back making a strong preseason impression
‘“It’s cool to see because it’s a guy who didn’t get an offseason at all and, in a new system, that’s really hard,” coach Joe Brady said. “It’s good to see a guy coming off an injury, there’s no hesitation, flying around, making plays. He’s figuring out what that niche is, and we’re asking a lot of him, moving him around. Our nickel plays a lot of different roles, so to be able to play safety, play nickel, help on special teams. It was cool to see him finally make some plays.”’
Skyler Bell like ‘kid in a candy store’ back at Bills practice, hauls in TD after return from injury
‘Bell’s return comes at a good time for the Bills, who are dealing with several key injuries at receiver. He’s expected to make his preseason debut on Thursday night when Buffalo hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers.’
Alec Anderson reportedly triumphs in battle for left guard spot on Buffalo Bills roster
‘For Anderson, it’s the culmination of going from a practice squad player to a starter. Buffalo originally signed Anderson as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. He failed to make the roster as a rookie, but Buffalo liked him enough to keep him on their practice squad. Anderson would make the team’s 53-man roster in 2023, but was inactive all season for the team. He finally got onto the field in 2024, playing in all 17 games and making four starts. He continued to find his way onto the field in 2025 with 17 appearances and two starts.’
Ray Davis had no doubts about Deone Walker and the Buffalo Bills are reaping the rewards
‘In his second season, Walker seems poised to star in Jim Leonhard’s scheme. He flashed some of his potential in the system during the Bills’ preseason win against the Carolina Panthers. In the Bills’ 29-14 win, Walker took over the opening drive for the defense with a tackle for no gain on the opening play and a quarterback pressure on third down, which led to an incomplete pass and punt. He would go on to add a sack in his final series on the field as well.’
Bills wrap up final practices before preseason finale
‘The team continues to deal with numerous injuries, with running back Ty Johnson, centers Connor McGovern and Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, wide receivers Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman, DT Ed Oliver, and safety CJ Gardner-Johnson all missing practice again Monday and Tuesday.’
Can Dee Alford’s versatility wreck Bills final roster projections?
‘Naturally the Bills would prefer their punt returner not occupy a roster spot to fill one role. Alford can certainly occupy more than one role and his versatility could have an impact on how the Bills shape their roster, which must be down to 53 players by 6 p.m. Sunday.’
Fracassi: Breaking news on a family’s heartache isn’t the way to do it
‘There are those that need their attention or get their name out there for personal gain, but, even in today’s, at times, toxic social climate, there are those that have ethics and compassion and understanding for their fellow human beings.’
Brady: Some starters will play in Thursday’s preseason finale
‘”There will be some guys who are starters that are going to be playing in the game,” said Brady ahead of Tuesday’s practice. “That’s going to be kind of a thing we’re going to talk about after today’s practice.”‘
Bills to wear red helmets on Christmas Day against Broncos
‘This will be the only time the Bills will have any uniform variation on the road this season.’
‘I’m like a kid in a candy store’: Buffalo Bills WR Skyler Bell set to make preseason debut
‘“He’s doing a great job, and he’s flying around right now,” Allen said. “I know, especially when he was out too, taking those mental reps and understanding the offense, asking questions to guys like DJ (Moore) and Josh Palmer, and just doing things the right way. So he’s been fun to be around. He continues to make plays in practice, and I’m excited to see him out there.”’
Bills to wear red helmets for first-ever Christmas Day game
‘Kickoff on Christmas is set for 4:30 p.m. The game will be streamed exclusively on Netflix. This will be the first-ever Christmas game for the team.’
