‘The guard market has shot up recently in the NFL, including last week when Atlanta’s Matthew Bergeron signed a four-year extension worth up to $96 million. Bergeron and Torrence are about as similar as two players can be. Both are 26 years old. Both are former second-round draft picks in 2023. ‘The scheduled day off for Hairston gave rookie Davison Igbinosun an opportunity to be one of the Bills’ two boundary cornerbacks on their first-team defense for practice. Igbinosun, a second-round draft pick, angered Palmer one day earlier during a physical one-on-one drill. Alford, meanwhile, got replaced Friday by Jordan Hancock, who played 148 snaps at safety as a rookie last season.’
