‘“I think that it’s been great to have him and (quarterback)Josh (Allen) start to make a connection,” offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael said. “The one thing I know is they go out there and they’re learning each other a little bit, right? If you watch a rep, let’s say we’re throwing routes to the receivers and it just doesn’t feel right to Josh and/or DJ, they’re going to make sure they get that rep again and make sure that it feels right for both of them.
