‘1. Wide receiver Keon Coleman. He’s been the most talked-about player on the roster this offseason, starting with owner Terry Pegula’s revelation that the team’s coaching staff, and not necessarily general manager Brandon Beane, wanted to draft Coleman in 2024. From that point, the team has done damage control, with Beane and new head coach Joe Brady insisting that Coleman is a part of the team’s plans for the 2026 season. It was fair to be skeptical about that, but now that the draft has come and gone and the Bills only used a fourth-round pick on the position, it seems reasonable to take them at their word. Coleman had a strong spring and summer last year, and it didn’t amount to much of anything when the games started to matter. So he’s firmly in the “don’t talk about it, be about it” territory, although it will be interesting to get his reaction to what the owner had to say.’

Alan Pergament: Bills home opener on a Thursday? NFL scheduler says you can blame Fitz
‘“Oh, definitely not,” North said of the decision being a slight. “It’s a primetime window. It’s a full day of celebration and anticipation. It’s a testament to Amazon and our friends at ‘Thursday Night Football’ and what they can do with the traveling circus that comes to town for the day, and, obviously, having Fitz on the (Prime) desk surely was a consideration, as well. I’m sure he’s going to love it. The Bills were aware of the possibility. I think it’ll be a fun day in Buffalo and for everybody.”’
Alan Pergament: TV winners and losers in the Bills schedule
‘According to sources, Bills regular-season games can generate around $150,000 in revenue for the local stations and more for playoff games.’
Why Joe Brady will love Bills’ win total projection
‘Considering they’ve had over 10.5 wins in each of the last six seasons, I’d say there’s a fair chance for that streak to extend to seven seasons.’
Analyst has odd choice for Bills’ best-kept roster secret
‘Last season, tight end Jackson Hawes was taken in the fifth-round, which at the time wasn’t seen as a big deal. But he was the best blocking tight end in the class, and it was on show in his rookie season under Joe Brady. Yes, he caught 16 passes for 187 yards and 3 TDs, but Hawes’ bread and butter is blocking.’
