‘“The year that he couldn’t throw with his elbow, he played against Minnesota (an overtime loss during the 2022 season) and we said, ‘Whatever you can, you just can’t take a hit.’ First drive, he’s in the open field and tries to run the guy over,” Brady said. “That’s how his mind works. The more that you tell a guy he can’t do something, he’s going to be like, ‘Oh, you think I can’t do it?’ That’s what makes him him. I’m always going to try to protect him.
