‘1977 — Bills 3, Falcons 0 — Buffalo’s first victory of the ’77 season was far from enthralling for the crowd of 27,348, the lowest ever at that point in stadium history. O.J. Simpson rushed for 138 yards to become the second NFL player to surpass 10,000 for his career, and Neil O’Donoghue’s 30-yard field goal in the second quarter was the game’s only scoring play. The Bills defense allowed just 200 yards and came up with a fourth down stop deep in the red zone at the end of the game. The win was Buffalo’s first in 13 games under coach Jim Ringo.’
