‘1993 — Bills 17, Giants 14 — In a Sunday night game attended by 79,283 fans, Jim Kelly led a fourth quarter comeback driving the Bills 73 yards and throwing the winning touchdown pass to Pete Metzelaars with 2:27 remaining. Henry Jones’ 85-yard interception return for a touchdown put the Bills ahead 10-0 in the first quarter. But a Kelly interception, five sacks in which Lawrence Taylor had a hand in two, and a Kenneth Davis fumble aided the Giants in pulling ahead. Bruce Smith sacked Phil Simms on fourth down near midfield to seal the victory. Thurman Thomas had 143 scrimmage yards (122 rushing). Nate Odomes and Marvcus Patton also had interceptions, and Darryl Talley forced a fumble that was recovered by Mark Kelso in Bills territory.’
