Bills Mailbag: Team chemistry, ‘Hard Knocks’ impact and training camp surprises
‘With a slew of wide receivers injured, other players are getting a chance to build that trust, too. That is something I’ll be keeping an eye on this week – who from lower on the depth chart looks strong with Allen? I loved the deep pass to Stephen Gosnell earlier this week. Kristian Wilkerson also got some added first-team reps. It is early for some of those guys to see if the trust is there, but there is certainly more opportunity than before as receivers like Elijah Moore and Tyrell Shavers work their way back onto the field after missing some time.’
Marv Levy turns 100: Milestone produces trip down memory lane for Bills coach, family

Hall of Fame legends lead Canton crowd in ‘Happy Birthday’ for Marv Levy, who is 100 Aug. 3
‘“I never came across a guy who played for Marv and didn’t like him,” Thomas said. “Marv didn’t just teach us football. He taught us to become better friends, better family men, better members of our community. I love you coach. Happy birthday.”’
Former W&M and NFL football coach turns 100
‘“I spent 12 years with the Bills,” Levy said earlier this week from his home in Chicago. “Other than that, what I remember most is my five years at William & Mary. They were the greatest group of overachievers, whether it was on the athletic field or in the classroom, that I’ve ever been associated with.”’
Josh Allen shares similar sentiment to Scottie Scheffler about on-field success: ‘You kind of forget about it’
‘”It’s maddening. But at the same time, it helps put things in perspective about what really matters in your life, and you figure out what that is fairly quickly,” Allen said. “Scottie Scheffler had that really good interview right before The Open that spoke a lot to me, and I really appreciate him sharing those words.”‘

‘Before the players even got dressed for practice, 16-year-old Maylee Cross, of Rochester, and 13-year-old Joseph McBride, of Oregon, got a tour of the Bills locker room. The two teens were there with Make-A-Wish.’
