Edefuan played football all through his scholastic years before the team moved to Las Vegas midway through his sophomore year of high school. That would be where his game gained the attention of college programs while playing at football powerhouse Bishop Gorman high school.’

‘At Troy, Solomon led the nation in sacks with 16 – tallying 32.5 total sacks in his five-year career. The edge rusher is quick off the line of scrimmage and has huge hands, measuring at 10-and-three-quarter inches, and a long wingspan of over 80 inches compared to his 6-foot frame.’

‘Grable missed his senior season of high school football with a broken foot and also decided the same year that his football future wouldn’t be at QB. An injury, coupled with a position change, kept DI teams from offering him scholarships; Grable eventually walked on at Jacksonville State.’

‘While Hardy is a capable cover cornerback with explosive speed, he is also an accomplished return man. As the full-time punt returner for Penn State last season, he averaged 14.6 yards per return and took a pair back for touchdowns for 56 and 68 yards in the same game vs. UMASS. He became the first player in school history to score multiple punt return touchdowns in one game.’

‘”With rugby also being a team sport, I believe that helps tremendously, my team knowledge and what it takes to communicate properly here and in the future, hopefully in the NFL,” Clayton said. “More importantly playing the wing in rugby helps with the physicality side and with agility and things like that will help.”‘

‘”I don’t think anything seems real yet,” Carter said with a smile on his face. “I’m just so excited to be here. I’m excited to be around so many great people.”‘

‘”We were checking the whole night around our area and back, and we were just following the board,” said Beane. “Obviously, we came into this draft without a (third-round pick), and we were able to get ourselves back into the third and felt like there would be some value there.”‘
