McDermott still preparing as normal for struggling Patriots

‘Despite all of this, Bills head coach Sean McDermott feels Patriots head coach Bill Belichick still deserves respect because of his elite game planning abilities. “They’ve had the success they’ve had over the years in part because of him,” said McDermott on Friday in his weekly appearance during the “Extra Point Show” on WGR. “He’s a brilliant coach, a great planner in terms of getting his team ready to play every week, and a little bit of a different approach with different game plans based on what the opponent does best. ‘It looks like edge rusher Josh Uche may miss the game or be very limited with an ankle injury. The top edge rusher, Matthew Judon, is out. This is a big problem for New England. Josh Allen should be able to get the possession passing game going. I think the pass needs to open up the run a bit this week because New England has beefy defensive linemen. Bills control the game but I’ll give the Pats a backdoor cover with a late score. Bills, 27-19.’
