‘Police were alerted to Oliver’s driving by a 911 call from another motorist, who reported a Ford Superduty pickup hauling a trailer with a dune buggy on it through a 45 mph construction zone on State Highway 242, according to MontgomeryCountyPoliceReporter.com. The 911 caller noted that Oliver was “failing to maintain a lane and driving dangerously,” according to the report.’

‘According to the police report, Oliver, 22, was driving with “an open beer between his legs,” and “appeared nervous.” A Montgomery County deputy administered a sobriety test, which Oliver failed, though the deputy said he thought Oliver might have been impaired by something other than alcohol. A search of his vehicle revealed a pistol but no drugs.’

‘Per the details of the report, the incident occurred just before 9 p.m. local time when another motorist called 911 stating the driver of a truck was failing to maintain a lane and driving dangerously in a construction zone. After deputies arrived, the report states they saw Oliver had an open beer between his legs. They performed a field sobriety test, then transported him to a local hospital for a mandatory blood draw. Deputies also discovered a pistol while searching his car. Oliver was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a weapon. No drugs were found in the vehicle.’
