Josh Allen’s contract remains unsigned. Is that a cause for concern?

‘There can still be some minor hang-ups over contract language and structure. Two years ago, the Chargers’ Joey Bosa held out after the two sides couldn’t agree on whether his deal would have offset language – meaning the team could recoup some money if it cut him and he signed elsewhere before the end of the contract. Bosa also wanted his bonus payments scheduled differently and sat out until the end of August.’

‘Most recently, Harbor is known for appearing on season 14 of the ABC show “The Bachelorette.” The tight end left the show after suffering a wrist injury while playing football while fliming. Harbor has since said that he has fully recovered from the injury that required surgery.’

‘There was some speculation that McCoy could find himself on the Commissioner Exempt List. The Commissioner Exempt List essentially would have been a way for the league to suspend the running back with pay as the police investigate an attack to his ex-girlfriend Delicia Cordon that took place at his Georgia residence.’

Report: McCoy to report to training camp

‘There was some question as to whether or not McCoy would be at training camp on time for the Bills as he is a possible subject of an investigation of a targeted home invasion involving his former ex-girlfriend at a house he owns in Georgia. McCoy was in Florida at the time of the home invasion, but there were some thoughts that the NFL might put McCoy on the commissioner’s exempt list while the league’s investigation continues. The Bills have also said they are looking into the matter.’

Report: Bills work out tight end Clay Harbor

‘Harbor is 31-years old. He’s played 98 games in the NFL over the course of seven seasons. Harbor has been a depth guy throughout his career, never eclipsing 300 yards or two touchdowns in a single year. He played the first three seasons of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. After that, he spent time with the Jaguars, Lions and Patriots. Harbor was at training camp with the Saints last year, but was placed on IR before the regular season.’

‘”I know that’s going to be a big question for him once he gets here, it’s probably a big question for Sean McDermott, and a lot of the players are going to have to answer,” Thomas said. “But up to this point we don’t know anything.”‘

‘“That three-game stint is what probably, really knocked us down,” said Alexander. “[We need to] try and eliminate games like that to where they don’t build up. Maybe you have one in the season versus having three or four. That’s really our goal, and it should be easier this year because we don’t have everybody learning a new scheme; we have a good core group of guys that’ll help bring the new guys in, get them indoctrinated to the culture that Sean is building here and the team is building, as well as the scheme.”’
