‘The rules are designed to make the kickoff return function more like a punt return, removing the high-speed collisions among players. The hope is the change significantly reduces concussions. The rule was approved at the spring owners meeting on a one-year basis.’

‘Vlad Ducasse may not be one of the Bills’ best 15 players, but he’s certainly one of the team’s most important players in 2018. Ducasse started 12 games last season at right guard and actually played pretty well. After showing some consistency and quality play last season, Ducasse’s role will be even more important in 2018. The veteran is being moved to left guard to replace Richie Incognito. The left side of Buffalo’s offensive line had been its strength the last few seasons. For that to continue, Ducasse will need to build off of his 2017 season.’

‘Clay will look to impact both the punt return and kick return teams, as he has throughout his career. He has two career punt return touchdowns, including one such return last season in Carolina. Although he has not yet taken a kickoff back for a touchdown, Clay has a career kickoff average of 23.2. He summarized his readiness to compete for a roster spot.’
