His knowledge and comfortability with McDermott’s scheme should come in handy and help make his transition to Buffalo a smooth one. Beane and McDermott have as much knowledge of Lotulelei as one can have, so it stands to reason they’re confident he can be a strong fit on the field and in the locker room.’

‘Bush, who turns 31 later this offseason, won’t push either Micah Hyde or Jordan Poyer out of a starting job, but he should help on special teams and give the Bills some insurance in case of injuries. Bush immediately becomes the front runner to be a primary backup to Hyde and Poyer. ‘

‘The Bills will Bush’s fifth team since entering the NFL in 2010. The safety originally signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent. He spent much of his rookie season on the practice squad, but was active late in the year. He’d go on to play for the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions. His longest stay with one team came in New Orleans from 2012-2015. He had a second stint in New Orleans in 2017.’

‘Now Watkins will be playing on his third team in the last eight months. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Watkins intends to sign with the Kansas City Chiefs when free agency opens on Wednesday at 4 p.m.’
