Bills WR Benjamin to have surgery after season

‘Head coach Sean McDermott said Monday the good news is that Benjamin did not suffer a setback against the Dolphins as he did against the Colts. He was able to play through it, and that bodes well moving forward.’

McDermott: Living here now, I know what ending the drought would mean to fans

‘“I see the passion of this fanbase,” he told reporters. “And living here now with my family I know what it would mean (to make the playoffs). I see it in the players who have been here. I see it down deep in them and what it means to them. So I feel that. There’s nothing more that I would want in our first year than to give them that.”’

Davis: Effort ‘can’t be graded’
