Don't know if it's that big but it has the Bills in sole possession of first place a quarter of the way through the season. Who would have thought that?'

'Tyrod Taylor was in command most of the day and played a good football game from a game management standpoint. Taylor did overthrow a couple of receivers deep but made a fantastic throw downfield to Charles Clay and another one that was dropped by Zay Jones. He scrambled twice for first downs on third down plays and didn't turn the ball over. Finished going 12 of 20 for 182 yards and a 106.7 QB rating.'

'A couple of weeks ago the Bills got six sacks, but no turnovers in a 9-3 loss to Carolina. The mantra going forward was takeaways. On Sunday in their upset win at Atlanta, Buffalo forced three turnovers as ‘Jerry and the Takers’ went the other way with the ball.'

'Lawson’s groin injury cropped up in Thursday’s practice and he did not practice the rest of the week. The left defensive end will be replaced in the starting lineup by veteran Ryan Davis. Eddie Yarbrough will see more time in Buffalo's rotational system. Lorenzo Alexander is also likely to see more pass rush duties in Lawson’s absence on obvious passing downs.'
