Bills sign WR Thompson; RB Banyard released

‘Thompson, 28, worked out for the Bills on Tuesday and was signed in the afternoon. He was just cut by the Chicago Bears last Wednesday. The receiver spent the past two seasons with the Bears appearing in 28 games with nine starts.’
