'“Terrance is what I would label a young riser in this business,” Bills GM Brandon Beane told Buffalobills.com. “(Minnesota GM) Rick Spielman has had a great staff, well respected guys around the league. Terrance worked his way up to a Southeast area scout. The southeast is well known as a prime talent area. He’s done a great job.'

'Cooper, who was named the club’s BLESTO scout, spent six years in the Bills scouting department, the last two as an area scout. He returns for his second stint with the team.'

'“It was pretty good,” Jones told Buffalobills.com. “It helps when we’re in the upbeat tempo because the defense can’t do as many things and we have a wide open playbook when we’re in two minute. So it’s pretty good to be out there running the show and telling guys what to do and getting a feel for what you want to see on the field.”'

'With Wednesday's release of quarterback Josh Woodrum, the Bills now have four players at the position. The others are Tyrod Taylor, T.J. Yates, and Cardale Jones.'

'In Buffalo, it's all about an overhaul, with massive front-office changes and Sean McDermott and his new coaching staff trying to fix all that was broken with the Bills. In Miami? They're talking about being dissatisfied about one-and-done playoff appearances. Specifically, that's coming from the one player with the potential to do something about it: Ndamukong Suh.'

'Meanwhile, Saxton gives the Bills more competition at tight end, where Charles Clay, Nick O'Leary and Logan Thomas currently top the depth chart. Saxton has spent the early part of his career on the Jets' and Washington's practice squads after going undrafted out of South Alabama. Washington waived him on May 15. Saxton, who is 6-foot-3 and weighs 248 pounds, ran a 4.65-second 40-yard dash to go along with 36-inch vertical jump and a 119-inch broad jump.'

'Peterman started his college career at Tennessee but transferred after two seasons in which he attempted only 43 passes. He landed and Pittsburgh and had two successful seasons with the team. Peterman appeared in 26 games and completed 61.1 percent of his passes while throwing for 5,142 yards, 47 touchdowns and15 interceptions.'

'"Departures will leave the Buffalo Bills depending an awful lot on rookies this year, and rookies don't always fulfill their potential right away (if ever)," Schatz said. "Two of last year's top three receivers are gone. Two of last year's top three cornerbacks are gone. And while LeSean McCoy is still around to keep the running game dangerous, Mike Gillislee was outstanding last year, and losing him really hurts Buffalo's depth."'

'Injuries hampered Streater in 2014 (foot) and he never recovered, grabbing only 28 receptions for 283 yards and three touchdowns the past three years. After signing with Kansas City last offseason, he was traded to San Francisco for a swap of conditional seventh-round picks. He had 18 catches with the 49ers.'

'He played in only one game as a rookie. He played in 12 games, with two starts, in 2015.'

'"So appropriate that I already had my baptism scheduled for this afternoon," Kouandjio wrote.'

'"It's cold more," Ragland said. "I'm used to around this time normally if I'm at home, I ain't got no shirt on, probably got shorts and some type of workout shoes on. But up here, you've got to wear a toboggan year around almost.'
