He was with the New York Jets’ scouting department from 1999-2004, including serving as the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting his last year there.'

'Leach worked on the same staff as new Bills head coach Sean McDermott when he was an assistant to coach Andy Reid in Philadelphia from 2007-2009 before serving as the Southeast region college scout for the team from 2011-12. He then reunited with Reid in Kansas City where he’s spent the last four years.'
