Alexander thrived in a 3-4 under former head coach Rex Ryan, but McDermott will run a base 4-3. Along with his sack total, Alexander had 76 tackles and an interception, all career highs.'

'Overall, Davis has 11 sacks, an interception and three forced fumbles in 47 career games.'

'Buffalo gave Groy an original-round restricted free-agent tender earlier this month, worth $1.8 million. Because Groy was undrafted, the Bills will not receive any draft compensation if they decline to match the Rams' offer.'

However, the Bills are still shockingly thin at the position and would have to rely on the group of Brown, Walt Powell, Kolby Listenbee, and Dez Lewis to take meaningful snaps.'

'A 6-2, 213-pound Tennessee-Martin product, Butler originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. During his first three seasons in the NFL, Butler has appeared in 12 games in his NFL career and has totaled 33 receptions for 374 yards. In addition to the Ravens, Butler spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets and San Diego Chargers during the 2016 season. '

'DE Ryan Davis has agreed to terms with the Buffalo Bills. Davis spent last season with the Dallas Cowboys and entered the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.'
