'"It's just a sit-and-wait game right now," said Taylor, who has been in Buffalo this offseason rehabbing from sports hernia surgery that was performed a month ago.'

'The best-case scenario Sunday is that Ryan will say something outrageous about New England Coach Bill Belichick or quarterback Tom Brady. The worst-case scenario is he pulls a Belichick and just gives out coach speak.'

'“My focus is not on the contract situation or what’s gonna happen, it’s more just being healthy,” said Taylor, who underwent groin surgery a few weeks ago. “The thing that keeps my mind off of it is rehabbing. If I didn’t have to rehab, I’d probably be thinking about (the contract situation) all the time.”'

'Buffalo is expected to move to a 4-3 defense in 2017 and Hughes will start at defensive end. Hughes thrived as a DE in Jim Schwartz's wide-nine defense and his ability to disrupt the quarterback will make him an important piece to Sean McDermott's defense.'

'Coming off a season in which he had 1,623 yards from scrimmage and 14 touchdowns in 15 games, McCoy certainly can make the case he's the best back in the NFL. McCoy turns 29 in July, however, so the Bills have to hope he can stay among the league's best running backs for a few more years. '

'"The thing that keeps my mind off of it is rehab," Taylor said. "If I didn't have the rehab it'd probably be on my mind all the time."'

'Since Tom Coughlin was hired as executive vice president of football operations and Marrone promoted to the full-time post on Jan. 9, the Jaguars had announced several staff moves, including coordinators Nathaniel Hackett (offense), Todd Wash (defense) and Joe DeCamillis (special teams).'

'"The conversations isn't about necessarily contracts, it's more so getting to know each other. I've known a couple of the new coaches for a couples years from my time in Baltimore," Taylor said. "For the most part just getting to know guys and if I'm the guy that management chooses to keep around, definitely want to be able to be comfortable around those coaches. That's what I'm doing in the time I see them now."'
