'Brown is one of the most consistent receivers in the league. Tops in receiving touchdowns (11), tied for the league lead in receptions (88) and fourth in receiving yards, Brown usually gets his. Gilmore will have to do something to ensure that he doesn’t.'

'The Bills are going against the ninth-ranked pass defense on Sunday, and will need all hands on deck. Pittsburgh has allowed only four pass touchdowns in the last three games and have held two of the last three quarterbacks they’ve faced to under 200 yards.'

But after that, the injury excuse goes out the window. The team thought so little of Salas, it released him from injured reserve. Harvin spent all of two games on the active roster, so to say his contribution is missed is flat-out wrong. The one-game absences of Powell, Goodwin and Tate should hardly be insurmountable for a competent passing attack.'

'McCoy has been the Bills’ best player all season, and it really isn’t even close. Despite missing the equivalent of two full games due to injury, he has rushed for 949 yards, which ranks him sixth in the NFL, and his 5.5 average per carry leads everyone among the top 25 rushers in the league, and only Miami’s Jay Ajayi (5.2) is within range.'
