'After an abysmal first half, which saw the Bills net five yards of total offense in the first quarter, Buffalo turned things around just enough in the second half.'

'Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy, and Sammy Watkins all spoke with the media following the win.'

'“They definitely had our number in the first half,” Ryan said. “I thought it was big for us to get that score right before the intermission. I thought that kind of gave our guys confidence and we played much better in the second half."'

'“It was perfect how it played out,” McCoy said. “I mean getting the score in the first half, ending it like that with putting points up and then in the second half we get a quick score and then it was a fight. After that it was just a fight and one thing about (Jacksonville) is they are very talented.”'

'This game was closer than it should have been. The Bills, on paper, are a better team than the Jaguars. The offense struggled early and the defense wasn't much better. Once the offense got going, the Bills put up some points and won the game.'

'“Right now, at this part of the season, a win is a win,” Bills guard Richie Incognito said. “It could be ugly, it could be by 30 points, but you need to collect as many wins as possible and keep approaching this thing one week at a time, one game at a time, one win at a time.”'

'The Bills (6-5) won for the second straight week when trailing at halftime after doing so just once last season.'

'"Right now I'm feeling great," he said, following Buffalo's 28-21 win over Jacksonville on Sunday. "I think, now I kind of got over that hump — the mental hurdle."'

'Playing one week after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated thumb, McCoy became the first Bills player with three multiple-touchdown games in the same season since Willis McGahee in 2004.'

'"We've been saying it for a long time because we know," Ryan said. "He's such a difference-maker as a player and hopeful he can play a little more and more because we certainly need him and we're a different team with him."'

'Darby took a knee to the head while trying to tackle Jaguars running back Chris Ivory. He sat on the turf for several minutes after the play and gingerly walked off the field.'

'"I've got doctors telling me this is the No. 1 medicine that would help your disease," Henderson told the Buffalo News last month. "You try to tell that to the league, and it seems like they didn't care too much.'

'Henderson has been officially informed of the suspension and is appealing the ruling, a source told Schefter, confirming an NFL Network report. A final decision on Henderson's suspension will be made this week, according to the NFL Network.'

'After both the Bills and Jaguars exchange chances, Jacksonville gets the ball with 6:55 left to play. The Jaguars are able to get the ball into Buffalo territory, but take a costly delay of game penalty on 4th and 4 with 3:33 to play. On 4th and 9, Bortles throws short to Lee and Buffalo's defense stops the Jaguars short.'

'The defense had some issues in this game. They weren’t good on third down(Jacksonville was 8-15) or in the red zone(Jags were 2-2). Bills opponents have now scored touchdowns on 10 of their last 11 red zone trips. Ronald Darby left the game in the first quarter with a concussion. Corey White had a bad day filling in for Darby and Jonathan Meeks was a liability at safety. Even so, they still limited Blake Bortles to 50% completions(13-26) and just 126 yards. The Jags top three receivers, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and Marquise Lee combined for seven catches and 73 yards.'
