'Ryan conceded, “Every game as a coach you go in and say ‘this is a must game.’ And recognizing we’re halfway through the season …there’s a lot of football left to be played. We’ve had some points brought up about our AFC record (1-4), and it’s not where we want it to be. But we play seven of the next eight games against AFC opponents so things can drastically change as you get going in the season. But we have to approach (tonight) as it’s a ‘must’ game, and I think that’s for the rest of the way (this season).”'

'“You look back over the last five years and we’ve had the most undrafted players on our roster, year-in and year-out,” Carroll said of NFL teams.”That’s just the way we do it. Last year we had 26 undrafted guys, this year 24. We’ve built our football team around our core guys we drew to the program five, six years ago and we’ve kept those guys here because we believe in playing young players. 'The Bills' ground game vs. the Seahawks' run defense could be a key matchup Monday. The Bills are expected to get LeSean McCoy back from a hamstring injury, but Seattle allows the fourth-fewest yards per carry (3.6). However, Seattle has allowed a 100-yard runner in each of the last two weeks, and defensive end Michael Bennett will miss the game after having arthroscopic knee surgery this week.'

'Hope should not be lost, though. According to the NFL, 40 teams have reached the halfway point of the season since 2000 with a record of .500 or below and made the playoffs, including at least one in each season. Last year, there were five such teams.'

'"The scariest trend is that Seattle is 12-2 straight up their last 14 home games coming after consecutive road games. If the Bills stick with their run game and can have long drives to keep their 'D' rested, they are definitely able to pull off the upset."'

'NFL.com writers recently predicted who would win each major award at the end of the season and Brown garnered two votes for Defensive Player of the Year. Marcas Grant and Adam Rank both chose the Bills linebacker.'

'First, the Seahawks haven’t lost at CenturyLink Field on Monday Night Football in their last seven appearances. What's more, at home they’re 3-0 this season and 35-4 (.897) since 2012.'

'Even though there are a few different places I could see the Bills being able to take advantage of the Seahawks — seeing as how this team is not the same Seattle one that we’re used to — I just don’t know that the Bills have enough to overcome all the things they do well.'
