'Over the offseason, Watkins had surgery to repair a broken small bone in his foot. He missed a chunk of training camp but managed to play a few snaps in the Bills' third preseason game. Coming out of the Bills' Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Watkins was feeling pain and discomfort in the foot, but he played through it against the Jets in Week 2. Watkins missed Week 3 after getting stepped on in a walk-through and was later put on injured reserve.'

'Additionally, Ryan said he believes Bills fans will treat Kaepernick the same as every other 49ers player. “Our community supports our team,” Ryan said.'
