'The Bills weren’t able to get much going on offense against the Ravens in their Week One loss, and the defense had a glorious opportunity to provide the additional scoring punch. In the middle of the third quarter, still trailing the Ravens as they were for most of the game, the pressure from the Bills got to Joe Flacco immediately, he sent an errant pass towards the sidelines, and it looked like Ronald Darby had a clear interception, and likely a touchdown to go along with it. Instead, Darby let it go right through his hands and has apparently been frustrated since.'

Before you know it the Bills could be 0-4 and in the conversion for a top draft pick in May. Fans will alternately be suicidal or vowing to give up the team and it’ll be hard to blame them. The Bills are nothing if not magnets for terrible luck, something that continues to amaze even the most hardened veteran Bills fan.

'"It’s just that we had way too many three-and-outs," Bills coach Rex Ryan said. "I think we had five 'Ks' we call them. And so it’s hard to establish any sort of rhythm when you’re doing that. And then the first quarter, on defense, that team right there, they controlled the pace of the game, I think. That’s what it felt like to me and part of that is when you make teams go three-and-out, it's hard to establish a rhythm."'

Additionally, third-string quarterback Cardale Jones would’ve been limited in practice with his shoulder injury, Ryan said.'

'"He's going to be on the field,” Schefter said during a network broadcast. “He's going to play. He's probably going to be targeted an awful lot. But he is not 100 percent after undergoing offseason foot surgery. In fact, about a week or so ago, that foot got tired on him during practice. But he will be out there today despite the fact that he's not 100 percent."'

I mean this defense now, that we’re getting ready to play, is as talented as there is. Maybe in the league. So you’ve got, you know, Sheldon Richardson is coming back, you got Big Mo (Muhammad Wilkerson) coming back. And then obviously you’ve got (Darrelle) Revis and company in the back end. So yeah it’s a very talented team. There’s no doubt about that.'

'Reggie Bush: Why is he on the roster? After signing Brandon Tate, the punt-return job isn't an answer. There hasn't been much evidence since he signed to show that Bush has anything left in the tank. He rushed three times for minus-4 yards against the Ravens.'
