'According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the suspension is marijuana-related.'

'Dareus signed a six-year, $108 million contract with the Bills last September, locking up the two-time Pro Bowler for the foreseeable future. This suspension couldn’t have come at worse time given the recent rash of injuries and problems the Bills have dealt with.'

'Dareus and Williams will both miss games at the Ravens, home vs. the Jets, home vs the Cardinals, and at the Patriots.'

Dareus would join Karlos Williams in being suspended for the first four games of the season, and according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bills may be subject to a "steep fine" for violating the league's remittance policy.'

While his timetable for a return to game action has yet to be determined, once he is all the way back, it’s pretty clear that he’ll be in the starting lineup and taking a ton of snaps until Shaq Lawson is able to return.'
