'The Bills (5-5) played a very nice defensive game and put a ton of pressure on Brady, routinely hitting the Pats quarterback with big shots in the backfield (Jerry Hughes rocked him once like crazy). Brady hung in there and made as many plays as he could, but the Pats were stymied offensively for a large portion of the game. Still, there were chances for the Bills to steal this.'

'The loss was costly — Tyrod Taylor, Sammy Watkins, Charles Clay, John Miller, Marcell Dareus, Mario Williams, and Baccari Rambo were all nicked up or left the game at various points. Although Taylor was able to finish the game, he was clearly in pain, holding his right shoulder/collarbone area. Rex Ryan wasn't able to offer an update on Taylor, saying only he hopes the quarterback is ready for next week's key game at 5-5 Kansas City.'

'Mistakes proved to be the knife to Buffalo’s back. Several miscommunicated passes stalled out Buffalo drives and a pair of plays with blown coverage by Buffalo’s secondary would allow Patriots to score twice.'

'Rex Ryan said he had a plan against Brady. Gilmore said they had a plan for Gronkowski. Both were right as they hit Brady early and often while keeping Gronk at bay but as usual the Patriots found a way to win a game at the Razor. The Bills fought hard and had perhaps their best defensive effort of the season but the offense let them down in a big way. The Bills can't wallow with this one, they need to take solace that they gave New England everything they had and use it to gain confidence for what's ahead. Two huge games against teams they are battling with for a playoff spot. If they can win the next two, this loss will be forgotten quickly.'

'Rex Ryan had a great gameplan for staying in this game but his decision to punt on 4th and 2 from their 47 with just over 10 minutes to go down by 10. How do you beat New England by doing that?'

'Buffalo knew they needed a near perfect performance against the Patriots in New England to get a valuable AFC conference and division win, but the Bills couldn’t execute consistently in the passing game and had two miscues on special teams. It was enough to help give New England a 20-13 victory over Buffalo.'
