'McKelvin missed spring practices, and opened camp on the active/non-football Injury list. He has worn a protective boot while watching practice from a golf cart.'

'Hill was added to spread out the load of carries during training camp. Dixon is expected to miss at least a month after he was hurt Monday.'

'"Honestly, I didn't know he felt that way," Baldwin said. "I thought we had squashed it before he left. I've got no hard feelings toward him and I wish him the best in Buffalo."'

'The Buffalo Bills signed running back Bronson Hill on Thursday and released defensive end Erik Williams.'

'When he was finished, Ryan challenged Sidney, owner Terry and Kim Pegula's dog who was also in attendance, then fed him a biscuit. After Sidney ate the treat, Ryan challenged challenged Terry Pegula, who then ate a biscuit himself and challenged defensive tackle Marcell Dareus.'

'Head Coach Rex Ryan joked with reporters after practice he put Williams in because quote "he can block somebody."'

'"Well I know he’s going to be back at some point. I can’t tell you if he’s going to be back the first game or whenever, but it’s a significant injury," head coach Rex Ryan said. "No, this was over the summer. So it wasn’t, he was … we thought everything was on track and with a lot of these type of injuries you have some setbacks and he experienced a setback."'

'However, performances from their quarterbacks like what they received on Thursday is something that was a welcomed sight.'
