'In a statement issued Sunday, the Walton County Sheriff's office said Kromer and son Zachary were fishing on Saturday when they confronted three boys over beach chairs. Kromer is alleged to have hit one of the boys in the face after throwing a fishing pole into the water. According to the sheriff's report, Kromer then threatened to kill the boy's family if he reported the incident to authorities.'

The Bills do have an assistant offensive line coach on staff in Kurt Anderson, a 37-year-old highly regarded in coaching circles. Their primary offensive line coach from last year, Pat Morris, is also still available.'

'No matter how the case unfolds, he should be sent on his way for first-degree stupidity and aggravated embarrassment. The Bills don’t need this hassle with training camp around the corner, enough headaches on their roster and so much optimism going into their first full season under new ownership.'

'Walton County Sheriff’s Office public affairs coordinator Corey Dobridnia said Monday during a press conference at the Sheriff’s Office that the boy punched allegedly had “some swelling and some bruising” to the left side of his face when deputies responded to a battery complaint.'

'So, if it gets to the point the Bills have to replace Kromer, the best two options would be to promote assistant OL coach Kurt Anderson or having Roman coach the position, even as the offensive coordinator.'

'“We’ve been talking about all offseason so it’s nothing new,” Graham said two months ago. “Yesterday we pretty much made a decision that I was going to focus on it a little bit. So I’m preparing myself for training camp so I’ll be ready. I’ll learn as much as I possibly can and we’ll see how it goes.”'

'In a statement released by the Walton County County Sheriff's Office, authorities initially responded to a residence at Inlet Beach in reference to the battery claim. The caller stated that Kromer and Kromer's son confronted three boys over the use of beach chairs at the beach. That's when the accuser said that Kromer grabbed their fishing pole and "threw the pole into the water and then pushed one of the boys to the ground and punched him in the face."'

'According to the Walton County Sheriff's Department, Kromer was charged with misdemeanor battery. He avoided a felony charge because the bodily harm was not great enough for a felony. Kromer was arrested at 1:39 a.m. and released at 3:10 a.m.'

'Kromer, an offensive line coach for the Buffalo Bills, received a misdemeanor battery charge for an incident in Inlet Beach. Additional charges might be filed Monday after the sheriff's office executive staff reviews the case.'
