The 6-foot-3, 299-pound Louisville product spent both the 2013 and 2014 seasons on the Texans practice squad. Kupper played in all 13 games during his senior collegiate season, earning second team All-Big East honors.’

Prior to coaching the Browns, Shurmur spent 1999-2008 with the Eagles as a positional coach, and that helped him earn a job as the offensive coordinator in St. Louis, where he spent two seasons.’
‘Shanahan confirmed the meeting to ESPN’s Adam Schefter Monday. The Pegulas are obviously casting a wide net and aiming high in their coaching search. Shanahan, a three-time Super Bowl champion, last coached in 2013 for Washington.’
