When asked whether Watkins has hit the rookie wall, Marrone simply responded, “I hope not.” The Bills have to hope, because Watkins has been their most dangerous offensive playmaker all season. If Buffalo is going to have any prayer of keeping pace with Manning and the Broncos, Watkins has to be break out of this funk.’

‘”I think Kyle Orton is very underrated,” Broncos safety Rahim Moore said. “I think in Buffalo that he’s found a home. They’ve given him chances to play, and he’s been winning games for them.””

‘”We look like a complete team when we take the burden off of them,” Watkins said this week. “The defense has been holding up the whole year. Now it’s time to come together as an offense and help those guys out. And I think if we can put up 28, 35 points a game, it’s going to be hard to beat us.”‘

‘The fifth-year player has had limited playing time when healthy this season. Williams has been inactive in three of Buffalo’s past seven games. He’s not had a catch since an 8-yard reception in a 17-14 win at Detroit on Oct. 5.’

‘Buffalo Bills linebacker Nigel Bradham was fined $16,537 Friday by the NFL for unnecessary roughness in last weekend’s win against Cleveland.’

‘The team said Friday that owners Kim and Terry Pegula have pledged $50,000. The NFL Foundation is also pledging $50,000, plus another $12,000 it generated in a fundraiser during the Bills “home” game against the New York Jets on Nov. 24. The game was relocated to Detroit because of the storm that dumped more than 6 feet of snow on the region.’

‘Williams, along with defensive end Jarius Wynn and tight end Chris Gragg, were the only three players that have been declared out by the Bills. Wynn will miss a fourth consecutive game due to a knee injury, while Gragg will be out for a second straight week because of a knee injury as well.’

‘”I’m tired of switching teams and learning new play books and meeting new players,” he said. “If I could stick around here for a while, that’d be the best thing for myself and my family.”‘
