‘Chiefs 23, Bills 21.’

‘The second game next season will feature the Jacksonville Jaguars and Buffalo Bills in Week 7 on Oct. 25. Jacksonville will again be the home team as part of its four-year agreement through 2016 to play one game in London. The Jaguars lost to San Francisco last season and are taking on the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. Buffalo is no stranger to international games, playing a home game in Toronto the past few years. However, next year’s visit to the United Kingdom will be the first for the Bills.’

‘Sound, disciplined football on both sides could come down to the final possession. Orton leads the NFL in third-down completion percentage (73) and fourth-quarter passer rating, and gets the nod with the Bills at home.’

‘The Buffalo Bills and Jaguars will meet in London on Oct. 25 in Week 7, and the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs will play there Nov. 1 in Week 8.’

‘”There was a lot of stuff out on it with sources and rumors, so I’m just gonna stick with the injury report and he’s not practicing right now,” head coach Doug Marrone said after Thursday’s practice. “I’m just gonna stick with the injury report and see what happens tomorrow.”‘

‘The bye week will immediately follow the team’s contest in London, which means the Bills will have November 1 as their open date.

‘”It was some great fun,” said Dixon. “It was a great experience just getting to meet all the different kind of people. They’ve got their little accents over there. I think it’s great because I’m pretty sure we’ve got some fans over there. It’s great to explore different things and do different stuff.”‘

‘The Bills will host a number of on-field initiatives during the annual Salute to Service game to honor the members of our armed forces. Before the game, 10 members each from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard will be honored for their service during the singing of God Bless America. The Bills will also welcome 150 soldiers from the New York National Guard to unfurl a full-field American flag during the singing of the national anthem. An Oath Reaffirmation Ceremony will take place on-field at halftime for 50 soldiers through the New York National Guard, and at the third quarter break, two additional soldiers selected by the New York National Guard will be welcomed to the field for recognition of their service.’

‘”He made plays kind of like you’re seeing now,” Marrone said. “I’ve always though that he was a very, very talented player. He’s a big guy, big target, can run across the middle, catch the ball, difficult to get down and tackle.’

‘If they want respect, they need to earn it. At the moment, they’re merely one of 11 AFC teams with winning records. The next four games should separate the playoff contenders from the frauds.’

‘”We obviously are looking and have opinions of the employees at the Buffalo Bills, and, again, like the Sabres, it’s very positive because Buffalo people seem to be hard workers,” Terry said. “It seems like a lot of people in the organization are hardworking people.”‘
