‘This marks the second time the Bills will play at Ford Field this season following a 17-14 win over the Lions on Oct. 5. It also is the second time in four years the facility has hosted a neutral site game.’

‘The Bills announced the move on Thursday, after the team canceled its second consecutive practice because of a snowstorm that has dumped more than 5 feet on their facility since Monday.’

‘The NFL announced Thursday night that the Bills and Jets will square off Monday night at Ford Field in Detroit at 7 pm. According to Peter King of Sports Illustrated, the Bills will try to fly to Detroit on Friday to attempt to practice there if all goes well.’

‘We greatly appreciate the hospitality of the Detroit Lions in hosting the Bills and this game, which will be televised by CBS in the New York and Buffalo area markets. While Ford Field could have hosted the game on Sunday, in order to give the Bills as much practice time as possible under the circumstances, the decision to play on Monday night was made. The Lions’ practice facility will be available to the Bills on Friday and moving the game to Monday night will enable the Bills to practice on Friday and Saturday and have their walk-through on Sunday. The Bills have been unable to practice this week in Buffalo.’

‘”We played a Thursday night game,” Brandon said. “We had very little time in the building on Friday. The players were off on Saturday and Sunday and had a light work day on Monday. Tuesday was their normal off day and then not being able to practice on Wednesday or Thursday there certainly is a disadvantage.’

‘With a persistent lake effect snow band dumping more and more snow on Buffalo’s Southtowns including the town of Orchard Park where the Bills play their home games, the NFL has decided that Sunday’s game between the Bills and Jets will not take place at Ralph Wilson Stadium this weekend. NFL Senior Vice President of Communications Greg Aiello issued a series of tweets confirming the decision on Twitter Thursday afternoon.’

‘Gray was released by the Browns prior to the start of the 2014 regular season and joined the Minnesota Vikings. Gray, 26, played in eight games this season for the Vikings. He is a native of Indianapolis, IN.’

‘”I was right outside Mercy Hospital,” Marrone said. “It was tough. You see people trying to get to the hospital. You see emergency employees, nurses and doctors trying to get to the hospital. I can’t say enough about the people of Buffalo. It’s a really unbelievable experience. People were helping each other. People were helping get people to the hospital. People from the hospital were going out. The people were trying to plow snow from the streets.’
