‘"We’ve been working on it," Williams said. "We know that’s a point of emphasis. We weren’t ranked high in the red zone last year, so we’ll be working on it. We’ll see this week. We’ll see if all the work has been paying off. There are no excuses, but last week we didn’t even have red zone in the game plan, so that made it kind of difficult, but no excuses, we have to score down there and make the catches we’re supposed to. We’ll see this week."’

‘Buffalo native Corey Graham has lined up all camp at cornerback, but the Bills gave him a look at safety Monday night, including with the first team. That possibility was brought up earlier in the offseason when the team signed Graham as a free agent.’

‘So, if you were looking for news on the most exciting new player on the team, the player the Bills moved up to take at No. 4 overall in the draft to provide their sagging passing attack with a major shot of adrenaline, there really wasn’t any.’

‘Seantrel Henderson moved from left tackle to right tackle. Erik Pears moved from right tackle to right guard, and Chris Williams returned from injury to step in at left guard. Meanwhile, Kraig Urbik, who had been received time with the first team at both left and right guard was playing center with the second-team offense.’

‘Williams, defensive ends Manny Lawson, Mario Williams and Jerry Hughes, along with defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as a group after practice on Monday. In addition to dumping ice water over their heads, each of them donated $1,000 to the cause. Williams said they were doing it for his family friend down in Louisiana.’

‘”Unless I know for sure, I’m not going to comment on when they’re coming back and when they’re not coming back,” Marrone said. “It’s too difficult.”‘

‘A source in the position to know on Monday morning said Morgan Stanley requested that the front man of the Toronto group attempting to buy the NFL team meet with the former Bills superstar, as a means of making their bid “more Buffalo friendly.”‘

‘”He’s not practicing today, and I’ll be ready to practice without him,” Marrone said. “He’s not out there, and when he comes back, I don’t know.”‘

‘A group of Buffalo Bills supporters plans to deliver a dozen U.S. mailbags to the Bills’ training camp at St. John Fisher College Tuesday. The bags will be filled with 13,000 letters from fans pledging continued support if the team stays in Buffalo and no support if it moves to another city.’

‘”Ribs are a funny thing. They really are,” Marrone said. “You can practice the next day sometimes. You can come back into a game. Sometimes on the x-ray it shows that it’s a crack. Sometimes it shows that it’s not and then you take a better x-ray and there is a crack. Sometimes, depending on the player, you can be out two weeks, four weeks, six weeks or two months. I’m not going to get into that stuff this year.”‘

‘He didn’t take all of the first-team reps at left tackle as the team is still trying to work him in slowly. Glenn was out there for the first snap of every team drill, showing a significant step forward. Head coach Doug Marrone said before practice that they would see how the left tackle reacts to the increased workload before coming to a decision on his playing status Saturday night at Ralph Wilson Stadium.’
