McKelvin has been working back into practice more and more over the past week and may even have a shot at getting the first-team reps against the Redskins. If he’s not fully there yet, Crezdon Butler, T.J. Heath or Justin Rogers may get a shot there throughout the game.’

‘As soon as I got drafted here I kept on getting stories from everyone about how much snow we’re going to get; how difficult it is to get to from the stadium to your house. I’m looking forward to the cold weather. I’m enjoying the summer. I hope this weather continues to be hot.’

You see them over huffing and puffing and we’re running a power play, going right at them. It’s exciting.”‘

I’ve definitely dreamed about (starting). It’s something I’d like to accomplish, but as of right now I’m just concentrating on making this football team and doing whatever I can to help this football team.”‘

He might have to do a couple things with the doctors and physicals and all that stuff that you do and hopefully be able to get that done and if we can we’ll bring him on the trip.”‘

‘Clearly, Marrone is relieved to have such a quality defender back on the squad, especially since Da’Norris Searcy seemed to struggle in Byrd’s absence.’
