‘”They need to clean house. I mean it’s the same thing over and over; 12 year playoff drought. They need to do something. It’s got to start at the top down.”‘

‘Yes, the revolving door at coach and quarterback is making us dizzy, but given the latest last-place finish, change is the only answer.’

‘Another long, painful, pathetic season mercifully comes to a close. Everyone knows that big changes need to happen I’m just not so sure they will. Chan Gailey has to go no question, but I’m not confident that this organization will make the move. Ralph Wilson hates to pay coaches not to coach and he hates coaching searches even more. They may convince themsleves that continuity is what is needed. If they don’t make changes there really will be nothing to look forward to in the 2013. Let’s hope they will at least give us something in the offseason to get optimistic about because I have taken just about all I can over the last 13 years.’

‘Chan Gailey should have coached like he had nothing to lose but was timid like he was all year. On 4th and 3 from the Jets 32 they try a 50 yard field goal instead of going for it. If it was from 51 yards they probably would have punted. His team did show up for him and they really seemed to win the game for him.’

‘For Buffalo it was their first win over New York in three seasons as the Jets had taken each of the last six meetings and eight of the previous nine. The Bills last win over the Jets was Oct. 18, 2009 and it took overtime to do it (16-13).’

‘”Changes take place every year in the NFL,” said Bryan Scott, a free agent this offseason. “It’s one of those things where changes are going to be made whether it’s on the coaching level or just the players level, it’s going to happen. I’m not concerned about it and I’m not worried about it because whatever is going to happen is going to happen. When the chips fall where they may you just kind of keep rolling with it.”‘

‘I thought that was an overall team win. Everybody contributed from the blocked field goal to the defense scoring and to the offense controlling the ball in the fourth quarter and scoring touchdowns. It was a team win. There were some critical plays in the game that we made. We had not been making some of those critical plays in the game and we made them this game. It was a good overall team victory.’

‘Yeah, but what we could control today is going out there and playing hard. Playing for each other because this is the last time this team is going to be together with all of the guys. These situations, they are kind of pride games like we talked about all week. They show what kind of man you are and what kind of character you have. I thought it really showed out there on the field what kind of character there is in our locker room.’

‘When we started the season off, we wanted to get to the playoffs and have a playoff berth. It didn’t end up that way, so it’s pretty weak as far as that goes. Winning our last game and going out with a win against the New York Jets is even better.’
