‘Along with rookie quarterback Russell Wilson and a stout defense, Lynch is a major reason the Seahawks (8-5) currently own the NFC’s top wild-card position, and they’re feeling especially good after the NFL’s third-largest shutout win since 1950.’

‘”We won’t miss that day at (Ralph Wilson Stadium),” Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said with a chuckle during a conference call Wednesday. “We’ll be just fine.”’

‘Gailey said he was impressed with Wilson when he spent time with him during the pre-draft process. But it obviously wasn’t enough for the Bills to select Wilson in the first three rounds of the draft. The Bills chose WR T.J. Graham (24 receptions, 236 yards, 1 TD) six picks before Wilson was selected.’

‘The Bills will travel roughly two hours by bus and spend the weekend in a hotel north of the border before Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. Doesn’t sound like much of a “home” game, does it?’

‘We all know about Lynch’s arrest record while a Bill and his escapades downtown. At first, the Bills didn’t seem to care and listening to Gailey, they still don’t, “You know, I don’t know that that, if you let that become too much of a factor, sometimes it can sway decisions that are not good for a football team. You have to make decisions that are good for the football team based on the talent that you have and the talent you’ve accumulated and we were loaded up there and we had an opportunity there to get value and we took advantage of the opportunity.”‘

‘You have got something in the back of your mind that you can go to if you think it is a problem. You do not go into making adjustments assuming. You go in with your normal stuff and then if you see that maybe they are over there calling out plays or calling out signals then you might have to make an adjustment.’

‘I know that everybody talks about the playoff picture, but for us we are sitting at 5-8. There are a lot more things we have to worry about and do. That is not really in our minds right now. We are trying to finish at 8-8 and getting to the offseason on a much higher note than we are right now. I think that is what you look at right now, just going out there and winning these last three games. We have a tough opponent this week. It will be a tough game for us. We have to make sure everybody is preparing like we are going to the playoffs and preparing to win the game. I think we will be OK.’

‘You can’t go in there thinking that you can break them every time because those guys are fast, physical and fly around so it is going to be a crowded box is what I expect. I just have to take what they give me and if a big one breaks I got to hopefully take advantage of it. I can’t go into the game pressing that is going to be the biggest thing. I can’t go into the game pressing for it.’

‘I have so many people that have come to me. It’s not that I have one group because that would be pretty foolish of me to go with one individual group because my objective is to put my two cents in where it needs to be to make sure that, number one, this team stays in Western New York. I know enough people that have enough money to make sure that happens. Put it that way. I know there are other groups our there too that want make sure it stays in Western New York. There are not many groups that I know of that want to purchase the Buffalo Bills and take them somewhere else. I don’t think that would happen, to be honest with you, I don’t think we have anything to worry about… but you never know.’
