‘McGee’s been slowed by a nagging left knee injury that hasn’t fully healed since he had surgery a year ago. His agent, Ron Raccuia, said McGee will likely require a second operation.’

‘GM Buddy Nix said he doesn’t want to leave Buffalo without securing a franchise QB. That says it all in western New York.’

‘McGee has played in only 22 games over the past three seasons due to various ailments, including a torn patellar tendon that limited the 10-year veteran to six contests in 2011.’

‘The Buffalo Bills made a flurry of roster moves Tuesday, placing CB Terrence McGee and RT Erik Pears on injured reserve. The club also released kickoff specialist John Potter and elevated Marcus Easley to the 53-man roster.’

‘The Bills may not be worse than they were when Gailey took over in 2010, but they certainly aren’t much better.’

‘Coach Chan Gailey said Monday that team doctors haven’t ruled out Anderson requiring what he called another ”procedure.” If that happens, Gailey said Anderson would miss about three weeks.’

‘Fitzpatrick played terrible during the second half of 2011, though broken ribs had something to do with that. This year, his health is fine, and he simply isn’t playing well enough to give the Bills a chance to succeed.’
