‘Defensive lineman Spencer Johnson was also active after missing the past two games because of an ankle injury. Starting offensive linemen Kraig Urbik (knee) and Cordy Glenn (knee) remain sidelined for the Bills.’

‘The winning score was set up by a Ryan Fitzpatrick interception. Jason McCourty picked off the Buffalo quarterback at the Tennessee 48-yard line.’

‘The biggest players for a team have to be the ones to make the biggest plays down the stretch. As for (one of) the biggest players on the field in both a literal and figurative sense, Mario Williams was nowhere to be found.’

‘After seven games going into the bye week I think I’ve seen enough of the Bills to know not only are they not improved from last year, they’re actually worse.’

‘Tennessee had a total of one rushing touchdown all season. They had four against the Bills.’

‘The Bills D is allowing over 32 points per game, and there isn’t an offense or quarterback in the league that can overcome something like that.’

‘Sadly, the defense hasn’t come close to living up to expectations. In fact, it’s yielding yardage and points at a rate that makes you feel like we’ve taken a trip back to the mid-1980s when the Bills were the dregs of the NFL.’

‘I don’t think anyone’s going to tell you to forget the names Aaron Murray or Matt Barkley after Sunday’s win, but for the first time this season Bills fans mostly saw what Ryan Fitzpatrick is capable of doing in T. Chandler Gailey’s passing game. Of course, that’s with the exception of his horribly-timed and under-thrown interception with 2:57 to play and the final drive of the game where Fitz was able to do little other than complete tiny dump-offs. Ruminate on this one for two weeks, Bills fans, and you’re going to chomp your cud clear off.’

‘Just another one of those games that Bills fans have to deal with. An excurciating loss that we have to live with for two weeks. It also shows that this team is not ready for a playoff run for the 13th straight year.’

‘In a matchup with a pair of offenses that have had their share of struggles this season, the Bills and Titans had no problem putting up yards and points. Both teams went almost blow for blow on the scoreboard.’

‘I did not think we would give up as many yards as we have given up. No. I did not foresee that. We just have to find out exactly what the problems are and we are not solving them right now. If we do not, we are in for a long year. We have to solve them.’

‘I just got greedy in a situation that I did not have any business being greedy in. It was a dumb throw, dumb decision by me. Third down at the end of the game, game on the line, Chan (Gailey) put the ball in my hands essentially and I threw an interception. So that one hurts.’

‘Well, we had mistakes. We went in wrong holes, did not box, did not hammer when we were supposed to be inside, just different things. I think he had three really big, explosive plays. And that is what it equated to. We have to clean those mistakes up. Against a back like that you cannot make any mistakes. If you give him any ground he is going to take off running. So we have to clean that up.’

‘It goes both ways you know. So many for us and them and they just ended up winning at the end. It was a close game throughout, they came out scoring, we came out scoring, and both teams could’ve put up big points and stopped the other offense. We were both fighting and they ended up making the plays at the end and we didn’t so that was the cause of our loss.’
