‘They say early Sunday morning Mis was arrested at the Holiday Inn Express downtown for groping the chest of a 64-year-old female hotel clerk.’

‘"Wish we could do it every week," defensive tackle Kyle Williams said. "We had guys that stepped up in big parts of the game. Everybody along the front made some plays. We did a great job in the run game, so we’re pretty happy with how things went. That’s what we have the guys to do. Everybody can make plays at any point in the game. When you’ve got guys all along the front who, when they get one-on-one , they have the chance to win and can win."’

‘Chan Gailey and the offensive staff did a nice job being able to adjust to the loss of C.J. Spiller, who was obviously a major focus of the game plan. The Bills plugged Tashard Choice into the offense, and for the most part, the Bills moved the ball. On defense, Dave Wannstedt dialed up the pressure with some blitzes, and really focused on shutting down Trent Richardson, and it worked very well.’

‘"Been here before, ain’t my first rodeo," Choice said. "That’s something you’ve got to do. You take pride in that. You don’t want to be the player they say, ‘Oh, he ain’t good enough. The offense is stumbling because they don’t have anybody to keep producing at that position.’ That running back position, especially on this team, you’ve got to produce."’

‘”We know things are not going to be right all the time,” said Johnson. “As a professional, you just have to keep on working.”‘

‘Now, don’t be surprised if Gailey adds yet another running back until either Freddie, C.J. or both return.’

‘"From the workout and the rehab [Monday] morning, it went extremely well. It looks like he’s going to practice Wednesday and we’ll see how he feels during the course of the week," coach Chan Gailey said. "I’m very optimistic."’

‘”It was like they wanted me here, they accepted me,” Johnson said of the contract negotiations. “So I needed to make some changes. It’s time to change the way I go about things, the penalties and all that stuff. I had to get rid of that. It was nothing they said, just the notion they had for me. And I wanted to change it.”‘

‘”It is big,” Gailey said of Jackson’s possible fortuitous return. “Anytime you can get a good player back, it helps your football team. I don’t care who you are or what league you’re in, it helps your football team when you can get a really good player back.”‘

‘Fitzpatrick is Fitzpatrick, and Brady is Brady, the guy who has lost only twice against Buffalo in 20 tries.’
