‘Buffalo has had trouble with their consistency on both offense and defense on their current six-game losing streak. Takeaways are the only thing that can overcome inconsistent play, providing more chances for the offense to score points. The Bills need to be at least a plus-2 in this game to post a much needed victory. They have 12 interceptions in six home games thus far this season.’

‘”I’ve been envisioning this for a long time-ever since I left Buffalo- to get a chance to play your old team,” Losman said. “Beginning of the season, I was in school, throwing with my uncle at a local college. … And here you are with a chance to start on a Sunday against your former team.”‘

‘It’s the second straight Bills home game that’s been blacked out. And there’s a chance the string will extend to the following week when Buffalo closes its home schedule against Denver on Christmas Eve. The Bills have traditionally had difficulty selling out home games after Thanksgiving, when the weather turns wintry.’

‘”I’ve never been in this situation that I can recall,” said Bills’ boss Chan Gailey of facing a second coach of the same team in one season. “I probably have been, but I can’t remember a time I’ve been in this (spot), so I don’t know what to expect out of their team.”‘
