‘The superintendent is required by law to report to the state Education Department any teacher who has been “convicted of a crime, or has committed an act which raises a reasonable question as to the individual’s moral character.” After an investigation and hearing, the state education commissioner could decide whether to discipline the teachers.’

‘"Every team suffers through injuries to some degree, and we’ve been hit pretty good with it this year," linebacker Chris Kelsay said. "We lost several key factors on our team both offensively and defensively, and sometimes that’s tough to overcome. I think the coaches will be the first ones to tell you it’s an opportunity for them to prepare other guys and give other guys a chance to show what they can do. And you either do it or don’t as a player."’

‘”He’s a very good player,” Tebow said of Dareus. “He had a great college career, very disruptive. I remember he was a little banged up one year we played them. He’s very strong, a very physical player.”‘

‘With Smith going on the season-ending list Tuesday, the Bills now have 16 players-including nine regulars-on IR. The rash of injuries has contributed to a seven-game skid that’s dropped Buffalo (5-9) out of playoff contention for a 12th consecutive season.’

‘Meanwhile Bills head coach Chan Gailey was asked if he thought Tebow’s success could continue. “I don’t know. It’ll be interesting to see,” the head coach said. “That’s the one reason people have said the option would have trouble making it in the NFL because you play such a long season and take so many hits running the option. Can a guy last? So far he has.”‘

‘Tebow was a great college quarterback at Florida is now earning respect around the NFL. Tebow is a great runner and that adds another dimension to the Broncos offense. Bills linebacker Chris Kelsay described Tebow this way”he’s a guy that will spin and shake out of tackles. He’ll lower his head he’ll try running over you. He’s a running back at the quarterback position. You gotta swarm him and get a lot of hats on him.”‘

‘”We recruited him out of high school so I had known him for a long time. His Dad and I were at Florida together. I’ve known him for a long time and known about him for a long time. It wasn’t anything different than I already knew about him. He’s a great guy,” said Gailey.’

‘On if he’s satisfied with what DC George Edwards has done with the defense considering all of the injuries and young guys filling in: This is not the time to discuss all of that. We’re all doing the very best that we can and trying to put guys in position to be successful. Everybody, in all three phases, that’s all we’re trying to do is be the best we can and try to win this game and the next one. That’s the goal. That’s the only thought right now.’
