‘”About every other sentence, every other word was ‘Aaron Rodgers,'” Bills safety George Wilson said. “We know he’s the pulse of their team, the pulse of their offense. And we have to do a great job of keeping them off balance, not really allowing him to get in a groove.”‘

‘”I think everybody on the Buffalo Bills football team would say the same thing, ‘Hell yeah, we’d beat ’em.’ But that’s in our hearts.”‘

‘“The biggest difference is that everybody is better on this level and it’s hard to find a weak link. You have to take a mindset at practice like it’s a game because you don’t want to get embarrassed,” Troup said. “At first I felt the pressure, but once I got there and talked to everyone and they told me about the expectations, some of the pressure kind of backed off. Rodgers has spent plenty of time the last two seasons running for his life behind a suspect offensive line. Rodgers was sacked 50 times last year. He is already on a similar pace for this season after getting sacked three times against the Eagles.’

‘"I’m a football junkie and I’ve been to some NFL games and I know how the NFL atmosphere can be," Nelson said. "I played in front of some hostile crowds in college, and in some really big games, but just not at this level of playing. To be able to play against this caliber of players and also have the fans going crazy, it was an unbelievable experience."’

‘"From my first meeting with Coach DeHaven, he’s come in telling us he’s not going to try to be Bobby, he’s not going to come in [and] try to coach like him and do some of the things that he did," said safety George Wilson, who co-captains special teams with punter Brian Moorman. You’ve got to have a plan for him because he’s good enough to warrant that. We’ll try to make sure that we either have people sliding to him or people around him or something to help us a little bit from time to time.”‘
