‘”I felt last year’s preseason was horrible,” quarterback Trent Edwards said. “I’d throw that out and say that right now, that we didn’t do what we needed to do. We weren’t in rhythm.”‘

‘The Redskins hold a 7-5 edge in their all-time preseason series with the Bills, including a 17-14 home victory in the last such meeting, prior to the 2008 season.’

‘In the first preseason game starters typically get a series or two with the amount of play usually expanding up until the third preseason when most teams play their starters the longest. Gailey indicated that his starting units will probably play a bit longer than that.’

We’ve got a short week next week so it’s not like we can go out and do a ton in between the next two ballgames. Then we’ll make a decision probably during the week next week whether we need to address it for the long term or not."’

‘”I think everybody in camp around this time we’re right in the middle of the grind so I think guys are feeling it a little bit,” said Aaron Maybin. “They’re going to be excited and anxious about getting out there and hitting somebody with some other colored jerseys.”‘

‘An undrafted free agent out of Southeastern Louisiana, Huggins spent the past two seasons on the Bills practice squad. He’s yet to play an NFL game, and had been competing for a backup spot on the team.’

‘The Buffalo Bills announced that WR Felton Huggins has been waived/injured.’

‘”I think Brohm has certainly gotten a lot better,” said Lee Evans, Bills wide receiver. “He’s certainly a lot more confident than he was. When you come to a team mid-season you don’t really know a lot of people. It takes you a little bit to get acclimated to everybody. He’s done a good job.”‘
