‘Some fans entering the stadium will be given pink ribbons. The coin for the coin toss and the ceremonial football for the pregame activities will be pink. So will the Buffalo Jills’ jerseys and pompoms. Fans also will see pink goalpost padding, pink ribbon logos painted on the field, pink towels on the sidelines and Bills coaches clad in pink-rimmed hats.’

‘Going in to this game, there’s a lot of pressure on this 1-3 Buffalo Bills squad. The criticism of the franchise is surrounding them like a wave that’s about to crash. But lucky for them their facing a team that is exploitable, but the Bills must execute in order to do just that.’

‘…this game was karma’s way of doing two things: 1. Getting Buffalo back for the 1993 “Comeback” and 2. Reminding the Bills that they’re still the Bills.’

‘"Lee Evans has great vertical speed," said Browns coach Eric Mangini. "He’s one of those guys that can threaten you deep, but he has the change of direction where if you play him really far off, he can stop quickly. Some of those speed guys can burn, but they can’t transition. He’s one of those guys that can burn and transition and makes it tough. He’s made a ton of big catches over the years. Unfortunately, he’s too many against teams that I’ve coached. He hit us with one, it was close game, they were backed up, ball got batted, found his hands and went way too long. He’s a tough guy to deal with."’

‘"He’s not a big talker, but everybody knows what he does say he absolutely means it," Bills head coach Dick Jauron said. "He lets his actions talk for him and I like that about him. On tape before we ever knew him, that’s how he played. He plays really hard and gives you everything he’s got. He’s really been a good pickup for us."’

‘”It’s frustrating because I love our head coach, since Day 1 I’ve been here he’s been in my corner and I’ve been in his corner and I’m not going to change that attitude,” Edwards said. “I’m going to continue to battle on Sundays for him and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t do that.”‘
