The coordinators have not distinguished themselves, but in all honesty, with the startling lack of reserve talent on this roster that is now pressed into duty because there are so many injuries, you have to wonder what exactly they’re supposed to do. It’s a mess in Buffalo.’

‘Wide receiver Terrell Owens had a season-high four catches, but they went for a mere 44 yards and none of his receptions came in the second half. He also had a six-yard run on a reverse. Owens said he was impressed by the way the fans greeted the 1-3 team before the game, and afterward said “They deserve more. These fans are passionate. Coming out, before this game we’re 1-3, but you really couldn’t tell it by the fans. You would’ve thought we were 3-1, so that in itself motivates me enough.” When asked if he would have booed the team for that performance if he was a fan, Owens said “I’m pretty sure, yeah, I’m pretty sure I would.”‘
