Ex-Browns OL McKinney signs with Bills

‘McKinney, 29, is a seven-year veteran who played the last two seasons for the Cleveland Browns. He is expected to compete for the starting job at left guard, and can also serve as a backup center. McKinney has been a starter at both positions in the past.’

Bills looking to move WR Parrish

‘According to a source, Parrish is being shopped by the Bills in trade discussions. It is not known what the asking price is, but Parrish is available because of the team’s abundance of wide receivers.’

Bills have far bigger issues than whether T.O. shows

‘Those teams already knew how to win. The Bills still are trying to learn. Even if Owens plays like a Pro Bowler and acts like a saint, the Bills with T.O. have major hurdles to overcome, just like the Bills without T.O.’

Bills sign McKinney

‘In his seven-year career, McKinney has appeared in 85 games — 45 starts — for Cleveland and Miami.’

Bills sign OL McKinney

‘A seven-year NFL veteran who has played both guard and center, McKinney joined the Bills on Thursday after spending the past two seasons in Cleveland. He had three starts in 16 appearances last season and started eight games for the Browns in 2007.’

Bills add offensive lineman to roster

‘McKinney (6’3″, 310) appeared in 16 games, making three starts during the 2008 season with the Cleveland Browns. In 2007, he made eight starts for Cleveland.’

Team statement regarding the League’s suspension of Marshawn Lynch

‘"When he spoke to the media recently, he talked about making changes and better decisions and we believe that he is moving forward in a positive direction.”‘

HOF Game tickets to go on sale

‘Tickets may be purchased online or by calling 800-913-9788 beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET on April 14. The cost is $55 for sideline and $45 for end zone seats. There is a limit of ten tickets per household. An immediate sellout of the available tickets is expected. All tickets are non-refundable and will be mailed on June 26th.’

Owens says late arrival for workouts a non-issue

‘”What I find so unfair is that I’m not the only guy out of 32 teams that didn’t show up,” Owens said Thursday. “That’s what’s so frustrating about the whole thing.”‘

Owens to attend Bills OTAs

‘”OTAs, I’m there,” said Owens who stated his comments about not attending voluntary workouts was inaccurate. “I’ve never been absent from any OTAs that a team has been a part of. When I was in San Francisco and Philly, we didn’t really have OTAs, but the last couple of teams that I’ve been with that’s when they started the OTA program, so I’ve been a part of those, and I have yet to miss one.”‘

Hold the line on Lynch’s suspension

‘Maybe it’s not fair to the Bills and their loyal supporters that Lynch won’t be available for such a critical period. But that’s on Lynch, not the league.’

Owens getting acquainted with Bills

‘"I’ve never been absent from any OTAs that a team has been a part of. When I was in San Francisco and Philly, we didn’t have OTAs, but the last couple teams I’ve been with that’s when they started implementing the OTA program, and I’ve been a part of those. I have yet to miss one."’

Bills’ Lynch suspended three games

‘Unless Lynch appeals, he will miss the first three games of the 2009 regular season. He can participate in training camp and Buffalo’s preseason games before the suspension goes into effect.’

Bills RB Lynch suspended for 3 games by NFL

‘The suspension means the Bills will be without the 2007 first-round draft pick for their prime-time season-opener at New England on Sept. 14. The rest of the Bills schedule has not been released.’

Offensive changes on horizon

‘”Obviously you have to have plays that fit that player,” said Schonert of Owens. “He does a lot of things well. We’ve got to make sure we have those in our game plan. Each player is different and you try to key your routes or concepts toward what they do well. Josh Reed you gear things to what he does well, Lee Evans, Terrell will be the same way.”‘
